Wisconsin woman charged with first-degree intentional homicide of partner
Mikayla Kloth, 25, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide following the fatal stabbing of her 27-year-old partner, Lucas Ross, in Wisconsin last Friday. According to court documents, the altercation occurred after Ross returned home with ingredients to cook dinner, while Kloth reportedly wanted to go out to a bar. Kloth admitted to police that she stabbed Ross in the chest during the ensuing argument. While officers were performing CPR on the victim, the suspect allegedly stated that being sent to prison would be acceptable. Prior to the incident, witnesses reported that the couple had been together for three years and that the victim had previously expressed fear of the suspect, noting an earlier incident where she allegedly bit his thumb. The medical examiner confirmed that the cause of death was a single stab wound to the chest. Kloth remains in custody as legal proceedings against her continue.
