Bilbao wins FIBA Europe Cup after defeating PAOK
In the second leg of the FIBA Europe Cup final held at the Bilbao Arena, Spanish club Bilbao defeated PAOK Thessaloniki 89-74. PAOK entered the match with a six-point advantage from the first leg in Thessaloniki, which they won 79-73. Despite PAOK remaining competitive in the first half with a score of 43-41, Bilbao dominated the second half to secure the title. Margiris Normantas led Bilbao with 17 points, followed by Darrun Hilliard with 16 points, and Luke Petrasek and Melwin Pantzar with 14 points each. For PAOK, Breein Tyree scored 19 points and Ben Moore added 11 points. This victory marks Bilbao's second consecutive FIBA Europe Cup title. Following this defeat, PAOK prepares for the Stoiximan GBL playoffs against Peristeri Betsson.
