Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission marks 30th anniversary

The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) celebrated its 30th anniversary with a high-level conference held on April 29. President Nikos Christodoulides delivered the opening address, emphasizing the regulator's role in maintaining market integrity, investor protection, and financial stability. He highlighted that professional oversight in small EU member states is crucial for credibility. The event featured over 150 attendees, including international officials from ESMA and IOSCO.
