President of Cyprus visits Athens to inaugurate University of Nicosia branch

On April 30, 2026, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, travels to Athens to officially inaugurate the new branch of the University of Nicosia. The facility is located in the municipality of Elliniko-Argyroupoli. During the visit, President Christodoulides will receive a guided tour of the campus premises before delivering a formal address. Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis will also attend the ceremony and provide remarks. The Cypriot delegation includes the Minister of Education, Sport and Youth, Athina Michaelidou, and Deputy Government Spokesperson Yiannis Antoniou, alongside other government officials.
