Retrospective exhibition of Nina Iakovou to open in Larnaca

The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation and the Pierides Museum are organizing an exhibition titled 'Nina Iakovou: eyes to see and hands to touch'. The event will showcase the work of the Cypriot artist, featuring ceramics, paintings, sculptures, drawings, and mixed media installations. These works explore themes related to the female form, the artist's connection to the Cypriot landscape, local memory, and tradition. The exhibition gathers pieces from various periods of Iakovou’s career, highlighting her evolution as a creator. The opening ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. The event will be hosted at the Pierides Museum in Larnaca. A reception will follow the inauguration of the exhibition. The curator aims to illustrate how Iakovou transforms personal experience into universal artistic narratives.
