Cyprus government unveils new international strategic communication plan

The Cypriot government, in collaboration with Invest Cyprus, has introduced a strategic plan to enhance the nation's international image. Presented to the Council of Ministers, the initiative centers on the theme 'Stability with Perspective: European Base with Global Reach'. The plan is supported by an international strategic communications firm and aims to present Cyprus as a reliable, stable, and pro-European destination. In a separate event, the 31st General Assembly of the Cyprus International Businesses Association (CIBA) was held in Limassol, where Energy Minister Michalis Damianou and House President Annita Demetriou reaffirmed the country's status as a secure investment destination. Minister Damianou highlighted strong economic indicators, including low inflation, near-full employment, and declining public debt as evidence of a resilient economy. CIBA also reported a 30% increase in membership over the past year. The strategic communication initiative seeks to tailor messages across different sectors to showcase the Republic of Cyprus's competitive advantages and investment potential.
