Limassol municipality and Epilogi sign memorandum for intercultural council

The Municipality of Limassol has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Cultural Movement Epilogi to reactivate the city's Intercultural Council. Under this agreement, Epilogi will manage the institution for a duration of 31 months. The council was previously inactive for several years. Its primary objective is to act as a hub for inclusion, collaboration, and community engagement among the various ethnic and cultural groups residing in Limassol. The initiative is linked to the European project TRANSFORMED, which is part of the Interreg NEXT MED program. This partnership aims to implement policies that encourage active participation from diverse communities in public life. Epilogi was chosen due to its history in cultural outreach and the organization of the 'Musical Footprints' festival. The project also intends to introduce a modern framework for managing intercultural relations within the city.
