Actress Elpida Mazaraki has passed away

The death of Greek actress Elpida Mazaraki was announced on Tuesday, April 28, by actor and Member of Parliament Spyros Bibilas. Mazaraki was recognized for her career spanning from 1972 to 2004, during which she appeared in numerous films, television series, and broadcasts. Bibilas, who confirmed the news after speaking with the actress's brother, described her as a dignified and respected figure in the industry. Recently, Mazaraki had donated her and her late husband's wardrobes to the TASEI costume department. Her funeral service is scheduled to take place on Thursday at 12:00 p.m. at the new cemetery of Glyfada. Bibilas publicly expressed his condolences and gratitude for her contributions to the Greek theater and television community.
