Greece prepares for Eurovision 2026 in Vienna with Akylas

The Greek representative Akylas, accompanied by the creative director Fokas Evangelinos, arrived in Vienna on May 1 to prepare for the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest. The artist performed his entry 'Ferto' during his first technical rehearsal at the Wiener Stadthalle on May 2. The staging involves a video game concept, the use of a scooter, and a performance by four supporting characters, including Parthena Chorozidou. Vicky Leandros is scheduled to make a guest appearance during the first semi-final on May 12, performing a new version of 'L'amour est bleu'. The Greek delegation is scheduled for a second rehearsal on May 6. Betting odds have shown an upward trend for the Greek entry, placing it among the favorites for the competition. The first semi-final is set to take place on the evening of May 12, following several dress rehearsals.
