Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus hosts financial literacy event

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) organized an open event focused on financial literacy. The event took place at the Youth Makerspace Larnaka, located in Salina Park, Larnaca. It was held as part of the Republic of Cyprus's presidency of the Council of the European Union. The program targeted participants of all ages, with special emphasis on children and young people. Through interactive workshops and simulations, attendees studied personal and family financial management, savings, loans, investments, and budgeting. ICPAC Director General Andreas Papadatos stated that financial literacy is a critical skill for modern citizens navigating complex economic decisions. The initiative aims to foster healthy financial habits from a young age to ensure responsible long-term economic behavior.
