Akrotiri Spring Festival scheduled for May 3, 2026

The Municipality of Kourion will host the Akrotiri Spring Festival on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm at the Akrotiri Environmental Education Centre. The event is organized as part of the municipality's Environmental Month. Participating organizations include BirdLife Cyprus, Terra Cypria, the British Bases Environment Department, and the Joint Services Health Unit, with contributions from Enalia Physis and the Nicosia Municipal Arts Centre. The festival aims to showcase the natural and cultural history of the Akrotiri Peninsula through activities such as bird ringing, guided birdwatching, cycling, and nature workshops.
