Fatal bull attack at traditional festival in Spain

On Friday, a 33-year-old rancher identified as Santiago San Roman died after being attacked by a bull during the San Marcos festival in Beas de Segura, Andalusia. The bull, which was being restrained by ropes, broke free and charged at the man, inflicting severe injuries to his abdomen, groin, and chest. The incident occurred in front of witnesses near the Plaza San Marcos. Emergency medical teams stationed nearby attempted to perform surgery on the victim. Despite these efforts, the man died in an ambulance while being transported to a hospital. The event has reignited discussions regarding safety protocols at traditional Spanish bull festivals.
