Fire safety awareness event held in Paphos

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, ERB Asfalistiki and the Cyprus Fire Service hosted an open day event at the Paphos Medieval Castle. Held under the auspices of Justice Minister Costas Fytiris, the event served as the culmination of joint initiatives for Fire Safety Week 2026. The primary goal was to educate the public on fire prevention and protection measures. Attendees were given the opportunity to inspect firefighting vehicles and equipment while receiving guidance from firefighters on safety techniques. ERB Asfalistiki donated two children's fire trucks, which were used for activities aimed at younger visitors. The event, which was supported by Live Link, also involved the distribution of educational materials and symbolic gifts. This partnership between ERB Asfalistiki and the fire service has been ongoing for 25 consecutive years to promote safety for citizens and the environment. The Municipality of Paphos assisted in the organization of the event.
