Cyprus participates in Taste of Europe event in London

On April 16, the Cypriot Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry participated in the 'Taste of Europe' event held at Europe House and Simfonia in London. The initiative was organized by the EU Delegation in London in collaboration with member states as part of the 'Enjoy – It’s from Europe' campaign. The event was inaugurated by EU Ambassador Pedro Serrano and the High Commissioner of the Republic of Cyprus, Dr. Kyriakos Kenevezos. The program featured a panel discussion on food security and geopolitics, alongside food and beverage exhibitions and tasting masterclasses. Cyprus operated a national pavilion showcasing traditional goods, including halloumi, commandaria, zivania, and carob products. A notable masterclass featured expert Ned Palmer pairing European wines, including commandaria, with British cheeses. More than 400 trade professionals attended the event to explore European products and strengthen commercial ties.
