Nicosia district administration to hire graduates from Agia Skepi rehabilitation center

The Nicosia District Self-Government Organization (EOA) has decided to employ individuals who have successfully completed a rehabilitation program at the Agia Skepi Therapeutic Community. The initiative follows a proposal by Aglantzia Deputy Mayor and EOA member Andreas Konstantinou. These individuals will be hired to work at the EOA's Repair and Reuse Centers. These centers are part of the EU-funded LIFE IP CYzero Waste project, which is coordinated by the Department of Environment of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment. The centers are located at the municipal Green Points. The organization aims to support the social and professional reintegration of these individuals, thereby reducing the risk of relapse. By providing stable employment, the EOA seeks to foster confidence and encourage healthy social relationships among the participants.
