Road construction and sewer works scheduled in Limassol

The Municipality of Limassol has announced scheduled asphalt paving works on key city roads as part of its network maintenance strategy. On Friday, May 1, 2026, work will occur on Franklin Roosevelt Avenue between Serifou and Symis streets from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Sunday, May 3, 2026, construction is scheduled for Archbishop Makarios III Avenue, covering the segment from the Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue intersection to Digeni Akrita street, during the same hours. Additionally, the Limassol District Local Government Organization is continuing construction of the sewage network and household connections in Mesa Geitonia. Specifically, work is ongoing on Georgiou Kalogeropoulou street and Paris Athanasiadi street in the Opalia area. Traffic management in these areas is being handled by a temporary signal system.
