Cyprus Film Days International Festival 2026 concludes in Limassol
The 24th Cyprus Film Days International Festival concluded in Limassol after a nine-day program featuring screenings, workshops, and industry meetings. The closing ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture and the Mayor of Limassol. The Dot.on.the.Map Industry Days platform facilitated networking for over 150 film professionals from Cyprus, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. The film "Nino" by Pauline Loquès received the Glocal Images Best Film Award. Myrsiny Aristidou’s film "Hold Me" ("Krata me") secured three awards, including Best Cypriot Film, Best Director for a Cypriot Film, and the Audience Award, which includes a €2,000 prize. The international jury was chaired by Matthijs Wouter Knol, with Anna Hoffmann, Christina Lazaridi, Melanie Blokesch, and Aimilios Avraam serving as members. Artistic directors Argyro Nicolaou and Petros Charalambous highlighted the festival's role in fostering cultural exchange and collaboration.
