Application period for state foreign language institute scholarships announced

The Ministry of Education has announced that applications for scholarships for foreign language courses at State Institutes of Further Education (KIE) for the 2026-2027 school year open on May 4, 2026. Interested students must submit the required application forms and supporting documents to their respective KIE by the deadline of Thursday, June 4, 2026. Applicants must currently be enrolled in KIE foreign language courses for the 2025-2026 school year, maintain full attendance, and sit for the final unified exams. The selection process evaluates student performance based on term grades and final examination results. Additional criteria for scoring include attendance records, annual gross family income, personal conduct, and a recommendation from the director. Students who will receive full tuition waivers for the 2026-2027 academic year, those who completed their final level in 2025-2026, those in the introductory English level, and adult students are ineligible to apply.
