New medical and biological sciences building inaugurated at the University of Cyprus

On Monday, President of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides attended the inauguration of the new Dr. Artemis Hadjipanayis building at the University of Cyprus campus in Nicosia. The facility is designated for medical and biological sciences education. The President was joined at the ceremony by the Minister of Education and the Deputy Minister of Culture. During the event, President Christodoulides highlighted the importance of investment in research and higher education. The construction was supported by a donation exceeding three million euros from the late Dr. Artemis Hadjipanayis. The President acknowledged the contribution as an example of social responsibility and private sector engagement in national academic development. The project is presented as part of a broader effort to leverage human capital in Cyprus.
