Assault on 23-year-old woman in Pangrati over parking dispute

On Saturday evening, a 23-year-old woman was assaulted in the Pangrati neighborhood of Athens while attempting to park her vehicle on Aristoxenou Street. According to police reports and public testimony, the incident occurred after a 50-year-old male motorcyclist became impatient with the time it took to maneuver the car. The man reportedly dismounted his motorcycle, struck the woman in the face, and shoved her to the ground. Following the fall, the attacker allegedly kicked her multiple times before entering a nearby residential building. The victim was transported to the Red Cross Hospital, where medical staff confirmed a fracture of her lateral malleolus. Authorities were notified of the incident, and an investigation into the assault is currently underway. Witnesses reported hearing shouts during the confrontation, and police conducted inquiries at the location throughout the following night and morning.
