Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU announces two international cultural exhibitions
The Cypriot Deputy Minister for European Affairs is currently in Strasbourg to coordinate the legislative and political agenda for the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union. In parallel, the Cypriot Deputy Ministry of Culture has announced two international exhibitions scheduled for June as part of the Presidency's cultural program. The first exhibition, titled 'Picasso and Cyprus: Encounters with Mediterranean Ceramics,' will open on June 5 in Barcelona. This event will display 100 to 120 Cypriot antiquities alongside Picasso’s ceramic works and will remain open until September 28, 2026. The second exhibition, 'Crafting Nature,' is scheduled to open on June 9 in Copenhagen. It aims to showcase works by Cypriot artists inspired by nature and will run until June 25, 2026. These cultural events are part of the broader administrative strategy during the Cypriot mandate in the EU Council.
