Sébastien Ogier wins Rally Islas Canarias

Sébastien Ogier, driving for the Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team with co-driver Vincent Landais, secured victory at the Rally Islas Canarias. The Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 proved dominant, winning all 17 stages of the event. Oliver Solberg acted as the primary challenger, closing the gap to 2.2 seconds by Sunday morning before a front-left suspension failure on the penultimate stage forced his retirement. Following Solberg's exit, Ogier won the race with a 19.9-second lead. Elfyn Evans finished in second place, winning three stages on Saturday and securing the top position on the Power Stage and Super Sunday classification. This performance allowed Evans to reclaim the lead in the overall championship standings. Sami Pajari completed the podium in third place.
