Panathinaikos BC captain Kostas Sloukas suffered a lateral meniscus tear in his left knee during a training session on Monday, April 27, 2026. The injury occurred just before the team's departure for Spain to face Valencia in the Euroleague playoffs. Sloukas is scheduled to undergo an arthroscopic procedure to clean the meniscus on the morning of Tuesday, April 28, 2026. He will definitely miss the Euroleague playoff series against Valencia. Medical estimates suggest a recovery period of approximately three to four weeks.
