New Mexico authorities investigate potential victims of Jeffrey Epstein at Zorro Ranch

Authorities in New Mexico are working to determine the number of women and girls who were victims of sexual abuse by the late financier Jeffrey Epstein at his Zorro Ranch property. State representative Marianna Anaya, who led the state investigation, confirmed to Reuters that local residents have come forward claiming to have been abused at the site. This marks the first time an official committee has acknowledged communication with multiple local victims from the area where Epstein held ownership for 25 years. Previously, Rachel Benavides, a former masseuse from Santa Fe, was the only known victim from New Mexico. The Truth Commission is currently collaborating with the New Mexico Department of Justice to assist survivors in pursuing legal action. Epstein and his associates are also accused of soliciting teenagers in New York and Palm Beach, according to previous court testimonies. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities seek to identify further victims connected to the ranch.
