Cypriot Member of the European Parliament Fidias Panayiotou is set to marry Styliana Averkiou on April 30 in Limassol. During a television appearance on April 27, Panayiotou stated that the ceremony will deviate from traditional Cypriot weddings, featuring a Bridgerton-inspired theme. The couple has invited approximately 800 guests and implemented a specific dress code involving pastel colors, which the groom acknowledged has caused some logistical challenges for attendees. Panayiotou noted that the event will blend modern concepts with traditional elements. Following the wedding, the couple plans to embark on an extensive honeymoon across multiple countries in August, coinciding with the European Parliament recess. Panayiotou also jokingly commented that his fiancée is the primary decision-maker in their household affairs.
