First Lady Philippa Karsera-Christodoulides seeks ambassador position

Philippa Karsera-Christodoulides, spouse of President Nikos Christodoulides, is among the candidates competing for one of six ambassador positions announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As part of the official selection process, she has completed the required written examinations under current legislation and underwent an interview with the Public Service Commission (PSC) last Friday. Compensation for these roles ranges from approximately 74,000 euros gross annually, or 6,100 euros monthly, at the starting grade, to 95,000 euros gross annually, or 7,900 euros monthly, at the maximum grade.
