Four injured in amusement park ride accident in Seville
On Friday, April 24, an accident occurred at the Steel Max bungee ride during the Feria de Sevilla. At approximately 8:20 p.m., a cable on the ride snapped while the attraction was in operation. The capsule carrying two passengers detached and collided with a metal support structure, before falling towards the ground. According to the Seville Emergency Service (SESD), four people sustained minor injuries in total. While one report claims two children were in the capsule and two bystanders were hit by debris, official SESD accounts state four people received on-site first aid, with two subsequently transported to a local health center. Firefighters and Civil Protection forces secured the area and restricted access to the ride. Both the passengers in the capsule and those on the ground were treated for minor injuries.
