Robbery and stabbing in Ayia Napa

A 20-year-old resident of Famagusta district reported being attacked at approximately 10:20 PM yesterday on Martas Street in Ayia Napa. According to the police report, an unknown assailant approached the victim, knocked him to the ground, and threatened him with a knife. The perpetrator successfully stole a sum of money and the victim's mobile phone. During the incident, the 20-year-old attempted to resist the attacker, resulting in a knife injury to his hand. The victim was transported to the Famagusta General Hospital, where he received medical treatment and was subsequently discharged. The Famagusta Criminal Investigation Department (TAE) has launched an investigation into the case. No suspects have been identified yet.
