Recent reports on robbery incidents in Cyprus

Two separate robbery cases involving 20-year-old victims have been reported in Cyprus. In Limassol, a 20-year-old food delivery driver was attacked by four hooded individuals on a motorcycle on Patriarhou Fotiou Street in Kato Polemidia around 10:25 p.m. last Monday. The assailants kicked his motorcycle, knocked him to the ground, and stole cash from his pockets before fleeing. The victim did not require medical attention, and the Limassol CID continues to investigate. A separate incident occurred in Ayia Napa on the night of April 25, where a 50-year-old suspect was arrested for robbing a 20-year-old pedestrian on Martas Street. The suspect threatened the victim with a knife, stole cash and a mobile phone, and injured the victim's hand during a struggle. The victim was treated at Famagusta General Hospital and discharged, while the suspect remains in custody following a court appearance.
