Police conduct nationwide operations resulting in multiple arrests
Police conducted nationwide preventive operations throughout Friday night, resulting in a conflicting number of arrests between six and seven individuals. Reported offenses include carrying knives, assault on a police officer, public nuisance, illegal residency, failure to appear in court, and driving under the influence. Law enforcement checked between 112 and 469 drivers and passengers, along with 14 to 51 premises, which led to between seven and several reports being filed. Traffic enforcement efforts resulted in between 32 and 124 violations recorded, including nine to 43 instances of speeding. Further tests included 124 alcohol screenings with one positive result and four drug tests with one positive result. Additionally, five vehicles were detained as part of these coordinated security efforts. Authorities stated that these operations are part of a daily strategy to improve public order and resident safety.
