OFI Crete wins the Greek Cup after defeating PAOK
On April 25, 2026, OFI Crete won the Greek Cup after a 3-2 victory over PAOK in the final held at the Panthessaliko Stadium in Volos. The match was decided in extra time following a penalty goal by Aaron Leya Iseka. This is OFI's second Greek Cup title in club history, marking their first trophy since 1987. During the match, PAOK initially led with a goal from Giannis Michailidis, but OFI equalized through Taxiarchis Fountas and took the lead with a goal by Thiago Nuss, before Aleksandr Jeremejeff forced the game into extra time. Following the victory, thousands of fans greeted the team upon their return to Heraklion airport in the early hours of Sunday.
