APOEL reaches Allwyn CY Cup Final Four following quarter-final victory

On Friday, April 24, APOEL became the first team to qualify for the Allwyn CY Men's Cup Final Four after defeating ALS Omonia 29M with a score of 26-24. The match, held at the Glafkos Clerides stadium in Agios Dometios, saw Petar Draskic score 12 goals for APOEL, while Stathis Kesidis scored 9 for Omonia. In the Allwyn CY Second Division Cup qualifiers, SPE Strovolou Handball-ASPES and H. Petem&K. Loizou also advanced. SPE Strovolou overcame a 15-17 halftime deficit to defeat Panellinios 33-30, led by Gabriel Haiduc's 12 goals. Meanwhile, H. Petem&K. Loizou secured a victory against AO Anthoupolis through a penalty shootout, winning 27-26 after a 25-25 tie in regulation time. Christos Mikellidis scored 11 goals for the winners, while Stefanos Fterakidis and Christos Mavrommatis each scored 7 for Anthoupolis.
