Sasha Vezenkov named 2025/26 EuroLeague MVP for the second time

Olympiacos forward Sasha Vezenkov has been named the EuroLeague regular season MVP for the 2025/26 campaign, marking the second time he has received this award. Vezenkov is only the second player in league history to achieve this feat, following Anthony Parker who won in 2005 and 2006. Throughout 34 games, he averaged 19.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, earning him the Alphonso Ford Top Scorer Trophy and the highest Performance Index Rating of 23.1. The voting was conducted among team captains, coaches, media, and fans. Olympiacos finished the regular season at the top of the standings and is set to face Monaco in the playoffs starting on April 28 and 30 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium. Additionally, Vezenkov and his teammate Nikola Milutinov were named to the All-EuroLeague First Team alongside Elijah Bryant, Sylvain Francisco, and Jean Montero.
