Third Cyprus Road Races Grand Prix to take place in Protaras

On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the municipality of Paralimni-Deryneia will host the third event of the 2026 Cyprus Road Races Grand Prix. The event features races of 10 kilometers, 5 kilometers, and a 1-kilometer route intended for children and families. This series is co-organized by the Cyprus Amateur Athletic Association (KOEAS), the Cyprus Police, and the National Guard. The events are dedicated to the fight against cancer, with proceeds from the Metro Kids Race supporting the Nikolas Zoe Foundation's childhood cancer research programs. The initiative, established in 2022 under the slogan 'Stronger together for a safer society,' aims to promote physical fitness. Following previous events in Larnaca and Strovolos, organizers expect high participation in Protaras. Traffic arrangements will be in effect to accommodate the competition.
