Alpha Bank Cyprus supports event on women's financial wellbeing

On April 23, 2026, the Financial Wellbeing Institute hosted an event at the Nikolaos Mountis Cultural Centre in Strovolos regarding the financial wellbeing of women. The event was held under the auspices of Deputy Minister to the President, Irene Piki. Alpha Bank Cyprus participated as an official supporter. Discussions covered financial literacy, entrepreneurship, workplace equality, and retirement planning. Alpha Bank Cyprus CEO Miltos Michaelas emphasized that financial wellbeing is a prerequisite for individual autonomy and security. The bank described its participation as part of a continuous effort to promote financial education in Cyprus. The initiative aimed to link women's financial independence to broader social cohesion and economic resilience.
