Rinat Akhmetov acquires luxury assets in Monaco and Germany

Rinat Akhmetov, identified as the wealthiest individual in Ukraine with an estimated net worth of $7.8 billion, has recently acquired two high-value assets. He purchased a luxury apartment in the Mareterra district of Monaco for approximately $500 million. Additionally, in January 2024, Akhmetov took delivery of a 138.8-meter motor yacht named Luminance. The vessel was constructed by the German shipbuilder Lürssen at their shipyard in Bremen. The exterior design of the superyacht was created by designer Espen Oeino. These acquisitions reflect significant investments in high-profile real estate and luxury maritime assets. The purchase in Monaco is cited as one of the largest residential real estate transactions globally.
