Dance House Lemesos hosts the SMALA Project hip-hop performance

The Dance House Lemesos has announced an open presentation for the SMALA Project, a transnational hip-hop collaboration, scheduled for April 27, 2026. The event will take place at the Panos Solomonidis Exhibition Hall from 20:00 to 21:30 and offers free admission. This project serves as a creative network connecting dancers from Cyprus, Greece, and France, with the French-based Accrorap company led by Kader Attou playing a key role. The initiative aims to explore the poetic dimensions of hip-hop through collective creative processes. The program is supported by the French Institute of Cyprus, the French Institute of Greece, and the Dance House Lemesos. An open discussion with the artists will follow the performance. Additionally, the Dance House Lemesos is hosting a free research-based workshop led by artist Hend Elbalouty.
