AEL Novibet replaces coach Savvas Pantelidis with Gianluca Festa

AEL Novibet has officially announced the termination of its contract with coach Savvas Pantelidis and his coaching staff. The decision follows a 1-1 home draw against Kifisia. The club's management attributes this change to a poor performance during the playouts, where the team secured only one draw and suffered three losses. This series of results has left the club in a precarious position within the danger zone with six matches remaining in the season. Gianluca Festa has been identified as the successor to the position. Festa has reached a near-complete agreement with the club and is expected to arrive in the city to formalize the deal. He previously managed the team during the 2018-19 and 2021 seasons. In addition to his past tenure in Larissa, he has held coaching roles at Lamia and Apollon Smyrnis.
