EKO launches 11th annual fundraising campaign for the Elpida Foundation

EKO Cyprus Limited has officially launched its 11th annual campaign, "Bringing Colour to Hope," to support the Elpida Foundation and children battling cancer and leukemia. The initiative was presented on April 23, 2026, at the Foundation's premises in the presence of Health Minister Neophytos Charalambides and Foundation President Dr. Loizos Loizou. Running through the first week of June 2026, the campaign covers all EKO service stations across Cyprus. The program allocates €0.01 for every liter of fuel sold to the foundation, with total proceeds expected to exceed €45,000. These funds will support medical and nursing staff training, provide financial assistance to families, and offer scholarships to childhood cancer survivors. Over the past 11 years, the campaign has reportedly supported more than 500 children. While some promotional materials cited a duration ending in early June, other reports specified a date of June 7, 2026.
