EKO campaign launches to support Elpida foundation for children with cancer
The EKO petrol station network in Cyprus has launched its 11th annual fundraising campaign titled 'We bring color to hope' to support the Elpida foundation. The initiative, announced on April 23, 2026, will run until June 7, 2026. For every liter of fuel sold at EKO stations throughout Cyprus, one cent will be donated to the foundation. Organizers expect to raise over 45,000 euros this year. These funds are designated for pediatric cancer and leukemia care, including medical staff training, family financial support, and scholarships for childhood cancer survivors. The launch event was attended by Minister of Health Neofytos Charalambides and foundation president Dr. Loizos Loizou. Separately, a distinct report mentions a presidential-level event in Nicosia involving Greek and Cypriot organizations, though this appears unrelated to the EKO commercial campaign.
