Nea Salamina announces new financial sustainability plan
Nea Salamina president Paris Andreou presented a new financial sustainability strategy titled 'Together we are stronger' during a press conference. The club aims to raise between 350,000 and 500,000 euros annually through a reorganized fan-based support model. As part of this fiscal adjustment, the management decided in September to discontinue the issuance of club lotteries, which previously accounted for only 3-4% of total revenue. Andreou confirmed that while the board actively sought an external investor, no suitable partner who aligns with the club's specific vision has been identified to date. Despite the lack of an investor, the administration emphasized that efforts to secure a partnership remain ongoing. The new strategy focuses on avoiding high-risk financial moves while maintaining the club's identity and competitiveness. The club plans to rely on fan contributions and structured budget planning for future seasons. This announcement serves as the primary initiative for the club's financial stabilization in the current economic climate.
