Omonia 29M and MEAP match to proceed behind closed doors due to police staffing constraints

The football match between Omonia 29M and MEAP will be held without spectators, with each team permitted to host only 30 individuals. The decision follows a request by authorities to reschedule the game due to the arrival of international leaders in Cyprus for the E.U. presidency. However, both clubs confirmed that rescheduling was impossible as players from both teams have travel plans immediately following this final match of the season. According to club statements, the police communicated their inability to provide security for the match on short notice. Consequently, the clubs agreed to proceed under these restricted conditions.
