Winners announced at the 3rd Cyprus Short Film Competition for Children and Youth

The award ceremony for the 3rd Cyprus Short Film Competition for Children and Youth took place on Sunday, April 19, at K Cineplex Prime in Strovolos. The event was held as part of the International Film Festival 'Cyprus Film Days 2026'. In the primary school category, the first prize was awarded to 'Gennaiotita' by Dasoupolis Primary School, directed by Thanasis Marios Ioannidis. The second prize went to 'Super Heroes' from the 4th Primary School of Limassol, directed by Lydia Chatzigeorgiou, Julia Maria Ioannou, Myrsini Maria Zodiati, and Demetriana Tsioullou. The third prize was awarded to 'LunchBox' from Tseri B Primary School, directed by Amalia Chrysostomou. An honorary distinction was given to the film 'Kaneis den einai monos' by the To Kryfo Scholeio elementary school. In the gymnasium category, the first prize was awarded to the film 'Upstander' from the Acropolis Gymnasium.
