Cyprus Stock Exchange market activity update

The Cyprus Stock Exchange recorded a 0.56% decline in its General Index on Wednesday, closing at 286.77 points, following a 0.61% gain on Tuesday when it closed at 288.39 points. Daily trading volume on Wednesday reached 212,949 euros across 92 transactions, whereas Tuesday saw 181,226 euros in volume across 100 transactions. Wednesday's session showed a decline in the Main Market by 0.78%, while the Hotels index fell by 2.31%. Bank of Cyprus led Wednesday’s trading interest with 99,040 euros, while Atlantic Insurance led the previous day with 62,182 euros. Additionally, the exchange announced the listing of Series 1 and Series 2 unsecured bonds from REHUB PLC, starting Wednesday, April 22, 2026, via private placement. These bonds will be marked with an 'S' on trading boards due to emphasis of matter in the company's financial report. Overall market breadth on Wednesday showed four stocks rising and nine falling, compared to seven rising, seven falling, and three remaining unchanged on Tuesday.
