Statistical report on administrative court rulings in Cyprus for 2025

The Law Office of the Republic of Cyprus released its 2025 statistical analysis regarding administrative court proceedings. In 2025, the Administrative Court issued 254 decisions concerning cases handled by the Sub-sector of Administrative Court Appeals. Of these rulings, 160 cases (62%) were rejected, while 94 cases (38%) were successful. This data includes rulings from the Administrative Court, the Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Constitutional Court where the Republic was a party. The primary legal issues involved civil service law, urban planning, land registry, environmental matters, military and police affairs, tax disputes, and benefit claims.
