Temur Ketsbaia expected to become head coach of Dinamo Tbilisi

Reports from Georgian media, specifically Geo Team, indicate that Temur Ketsbaia is set to become the new head coach of Dinamo Tbilisi. This move follows a period of poor performance for the Georgian club, which has failed to win any of its last seven matches in the National League. Consequently, the club intends to terminate its contract with the current coach, Vladimir Kakashvili. Ketsbaia, who previously managed Anorthosis Famagusta until his departure in February 2026, is now reportedly preparing to work in his home country for the first time in his coaching career. Although Ketsbaia has managed the Georgian national team in the past, he has never coached a club within the Georgian league. His appointment is expected to provide a new direction for the struggling historical club.
