Helicopter crashes in Brazil after takeoff with four survivors

A Robinson R44 helicopter crashed in Campina Grande, Brazil, approximately 15 seconds after taking off near the Garden Hotel. There were four individuals on board, including a nine-year-old child, all of whom survived the accident. Video footage shows the aircraft losing altitude shortly after ascent and impacting the ground in a shrubby area. The helicopter sustained heavy damage during the crash. Following the incident, 46-year-old businessman Josevan Rodrigues Ferreira was arrested by local police. Police Chief Rodrigo Monteiro confirmed that Ferreira was operating the aircraft without a valid pilot's license. Additionally, it was discovered that the required medical certificate for flight operations had expired. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the flight.
