Antigoni Buxton is set to represent Cyprus at the Eurovision 2026 contest with the song titled 'Jalla'. The artist announced that her mother, British television presenter and author Tonia Buxton, will be present by her side in the green room during the results announcement. During an appearance on 'The 2Night Show' on April 20, the singer discussed her career and cited Helena Paparizou's victory with 'My Number One' as a primary inspiration for her own Eurovision journey. The production team also recently confirmed the design duo responsible for her stage look at the contest. Tonia Buxton previously appeared with her daughter in a joint interview on 'Happy Day' on April 7. The singer stated that having her mother present is a non-negotiable condition for her participation. She has expressed a long-standing ambition to compete, noting that she always felt her participation would happen at the right time.
