82-year-old woman attends high school and participates in parade in Rhodes

Sofia, an 82-year-old grandmother of six, is currently a high school student in Rhodes after transitioning from a Second Chance School. She attends the same school as one of her grandsons, though they have limited interaction during school hours. The school principal, Mr. Oikonomou, describes her as a diligent student who participates in extracurricular activities such as the choir and theater productions. Sofia recently marched in a public parade in Rhodes, covering the distance from Mandraki to the Town Hall. Although she noted that the pace of the march was physically demanding, she successfully completed the route. She expressed interest in potentially pursuing university studies in the future. The school administration coordinated her participation in the parade alongside other students.
