Minister Ioannou announces plan for residential title deeds and park opening in Larnaca

Interior Minister Constantinos Ioannou announced that a proposal to issue title deeds and lease certificates for 92 residential units will be presented to the cabinet this summer. This initiative aims to resolve long-standing ownership issues for the affected families. The announcement was made during the inauguration of the Tsiakkilero Multifunctional Park in Larnaca, an event conducted on behalf of the President of the Republic. The park features green spaces, sports facilities, a playground, walking and cycling paths, a dog park, and an outdoor amphitheater. The project is designed to be accessible to all residents, including the elderly and persons with disabilities. Minister Ioannou emphasized the importance of public spaces for urban development and community well-being. He noted that the park serves as a modern hub for social interaction and recreational activities. This development represents a formal government move to address both administrative property regularizations and municipal infrastructure improvements.
